foldable IOLs made up of silicone or acrylic are superior to rigid IOLS

made up of Polymethylmethacrylate. But the evidence suggests otherwise. The primary benefit of the foldable IOLs are their ability to be inserted through smaller incisions and perhaps that is their only true virtue.
